EJP SOIL WEBINAR: SOIL SENSING – handling soil moisture in proximal and remote sensing

For whom? This webinar is a follow-up on the two webinars in spring, introducing proximal and remote sensing (introduction to proximal sensing January 18th 2024, and introduction to remote sensing February 2nd 2024). This time the webinar will present results from the two EJP SOIL projects ProbeField and STEROPES, addressing researchers acquainted with, or interested in, soil spectroscopy.

Soil moisture has a large influence on soil diffuse reflectance spectra in the visible and near infrared wavelength regions, and ways to handle that are important for field measurements both in proximal and remote sensing. However, the methods for doing that will differ. At the webinar, results from the EJP SOIL internal projects ProbField (proximal sensing) and STEROPES (remote sensing) will be presented and discussed.
